1947

Neudecker & Jolitz GmbH & Co. KG is founded by the Neudecker and Jolitz families as a repairs workshop for electric motors and transmissions.

Relocation of the company head office to its present day location at Venneweg 28 in Gescher

1969

Paul Lütkenhaus becomes managing partner

Acquisition of Pleuger Pumpen and founding of PVG Pumpen-Vertrieb Gescher GmbH

Majority stake in hoelschertechnic-gorator® GmbH & Co. KG (transport and treatment of waste water and process liquids)

Acquisition of Warsteiner Antriebstechnik and renamed to LAT Maschinen- und Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG (development and production of drum motors for materials handling and treatment technology)

1998

Acquisition of BSB Biedron GmbH (development and production of concrete and stone processing machines)

Majority stake in WABE Wasseraufbereitung GmbH (development and production of treatment plants for process liquids) Acquisition of himmel GmbH (implementation of technical conveyor systems and control solutions for electric monorail systems, automotive)

2005

Acquisition of M+L Systemhydraulik (planning and production of products for the container glass industry)

2009

Acquisition of TS Pumpentechnik GmbH (pump sales and consulting) Name of group changes to HIMMEL® technologies

2010

Company co-founder Monika Lütkenhaus (nee Jolitz) retires

2014

Acquisition of Schmidt Pumpentechnik Wuppertal (pump sales and consulting)

2015

Acquisition of Metallbau Uhling GmbH (production of steel frames for treatment plant equipment primarily using stainless steel)

2017

Relocation of the WABE Wasseraufbereitung GmbH & Co. KG from Gelsenkirchen to Gescher

2018

BSB Biedon GmbH & Co. KG changes name to HIMMEL® Tür- und Torantriebe GmbH & Co. KG Nina Lütkenhaus appointed managing director.

2019

Expansion of the product portfolio to include HIMMEL® Kletronic (mattress adhesive systems)

Death of Senior Managing Director Paul Lütkenhaus
